Blog Tweaks

Alright, so, I had to make a few tweaks to the blog.

First off, the reason I keep the blog background that shade of gray is because when I copy/paste from Google Forms, it carries over a strange light brown white highlight, so I rehighlighted the text to match the blog's background. Now, with more than 150 posts having light gray background, I'm keeping it this shade so that not as many posts are affected by blog changes, and thus every post is fully readable. Minus the ones that were created when the blog had a black background. Those are goners.

So, anyways, I had to change this blog's theme up a little, as the standard blog background was no longer applying to the same place. In fact, there were two tabs, "Blog Background" and "Post Background", and I missed that when changing the blog's theme. Thus, I've edited the colors of the blog a bit. Honestly, it looks more like an eyesore to me, now, so the full blog format is still a work in progress. I may change stuff, I may change everything, or I may leave it as it is. I'm not sure. What are your thoughts?

Final change: with the previous blog style, the text of the like buttons were unreadable, thus I removed them. Now that I figured out the problem and everything, I've readded them. But, I also changed them. Now, they say, "Good", "Better", and "Best". This gives you a way to kinda vote on how good something is, although there's no negativity, so no one's hearts are going to be crushed.

My Talent (Poem by Mark Borne)

Many places, I've come to know, People of different cultures, too; They all have their thing, Something that they can do, But not me, not yet, My talent has yet to show up. I write and write, plots And twists and poems and Even the rare favorite of The readers I've lured And ensnared in my blog. Yet deep inside, I force myself To write the words that meet The lines of text and thoughts. Then I turn to run, and Find the wind upon my face As I escape my life, But it always catches up, And the worries I face Distract me, making the Outside world obsolete. Even in reading, I find Myself buried in stories That show misfortune in the Lives of fictional characters, Directly only to do as they Were told by the writer. And yet, in stories there is a Beauty unmatched by reality, A world that eventually Results in kindness and Peace and excitement. And being in those worlds, If only for a mere moment, Is my hobby. If only I could Be the character in the ...

Nexus Mad Libs

I assume most of you are familiar with what Mad Libs are. Basically, you're given a bunch of blanks to fill in, and you do so without knowing what the story is. Each blank has a part of speech labeling it, and that blank needs something that fits the part of speech. For example: Adjective: ________ --> Adjective: Explosive In the end, we usually have a hilarious end result that makes no sense whatsoever. One example is this (which is a real result I got once with my siblings): "Another way to help you fall asleep faster is drinking a nuclear glass of warm vinegar ." First, let's go over some rules. Obviously, keep it family friendly. This still goes for all blog content. Do not submit two words in a row. Submit one, and when someone else does one, you may do another. Submit through comments. That'll make it easier for me to assemble the final result. The category is Medieval Heroes . Here are the blanks: Adjective: Constipated (Kyra) Per...
