Rain pours down outside, The pain is deep inside. The light, Just isn’t in reach. The pain that we feel, Makes the snow seem unreal. Is there a way out? Are we even alive? Nothing is in reach. The cold grips our hearts, And we find it hard to part, From the end and the start. It just isn’t in reach. The winter days and snowy nights, Have us living in fear, it’s not right. The darkness covers the bright, Everything’s white and we've lost this fight. The snow blankets the ground. The fire is blazing hotter now, Telling us the futures a burn. What we feel is true hurt, There's no escape, nowhere to turn, And now here we are, saying it's not okay, But the winter months are here to stay. Save us from these winter days. Outside it’s pouring rain. We can’t seem to breathe. Our pain we can’t explain. The darkness overtakes. We hear the shatters as our hearts break. They don’t understand the way we feel. A proud rose we stood, Painted the purest of white. We were loved and considered good, Until things stopped going right. Wilted at the seams, Our petals still gleam; Yet the purity of white is fading And our joy is slowly dissipating. After a while, unhappiness Turns to empty brokenness. The joy we once felt is no more, And the feelings we had walked out of the door. As the days dragged on, We stood no longer so tall. A weary, almost broken girl, Living in a vibrant world. When things got better and the storm would fade, An empty heart was left, ready to cave. Barely getting by, not really living life, A zombie in that body of ours; We feel numb without a cure. Now a hunched black rose we stand, Unable to turn back again. Jabbed by our own thorns, Leaves battered and torn. Feelings drowned out by the numbness, And now all we want it to feel something. Where is this person we once knew? Why are we left with nothing else to do? We cry with meaningless tears, Echoing the bottomless fears.

A friend's friend did a cover for a song called "Stay Tonight" which was, I believe, originally written by "CHUNGHA". ...wow, whoever they were, they wanted to scream their identity to us. Huh. Anyways, this friend, J. Karas, did a cover for "Stay Tonight", and while I haven't actually listened to the original, I really don't want to. This cover's really great, and despite my picky taste in music, I've got a very important question...and I'm serious... IS THIS GONNA BE ON SPOTIFY, AND IF SO, WHEN?! So, I guess what blogs are used for are...life updates? I don't know. But I figure one is due here, anyways. Firstly, I finished high school. Ironically, this has not freed up time, so my writing is still suffering. A few blog-related updates: I will be posting my "Star Wars: Whispers of the Force" fan-fiction here slowly overtime. There will be some parts- the "Visions" chapters- which I will not post here, and keep exclusive to Wattpad, but they aren't major to the actual plot, they just provide a bit more insight into what's going on in the story. I don't know when I'll post the first part. Sometime. We'll see. There are so many actual life updates I really do want to post. So much has happened in the last several months, and I'm itching to tell you guys- in fact, I would tell you.
