I've had a variety of Minecraft building projects in the past. The first one was a Minecraft city. Here's the final product of it:
It looks pretty sad, I know. In my defense, however, I was unaware the "Kill All Entities" command was reprogrammed to kill even players on Creative Mode, so when I tried to get rid of all the annoying slime monsters through a simple command, I killed myself and I respawned realizing I had no idea where my build actually was. Thus, I failed before I had a chance to succeed. My second build project was a Village Renovation. It turned out pretty well:
Of course, this is only a snapshot of what I actually did. It was a large village, and I renovated most of the houses. I redid all the paths, upgraded the well, created a fishing pier, made an underwater temple, and built a bridge over a river that led to a new market. My third project was a Dwarvish Fortress build:
Again, only a snapshot. There's a lot of thought I put into that build, so suffice it to say, I made several minor mistakes that ruined the whole feel of the build (and were unable to be fixed, without scrapping everything).
Anyhow, now I'm working on a Dwarvish Castle. My goal is to finish this build by the summer, although I'll settle for finishing by the end of the year, if need be. I've already started, and this feels like the biggest project so far. While it may have just as much building as the Village Renovation build, this castle will be done completely be scratch, and I'll probably have to change sections as I build it. By the end of the week, I'll hopefully have completed the entrance to the build, and I'll proceed to share it with all of you. In the meantime, here's a preview picture:

Of course, Dwarves aren't the only fantastic race out there, and it's not fully fair to build stuff dedicated solely to them, and to neglect the other races, such as Elves, Halflings, Orcs, and the like. Want to see me do some other kind of build, too? Let me know in the comments! I probably won't start any large projects until this is done, but I'd totally be up for building a small dwelling or experimenting with architecture meanwhile.
This is literally the first time I've used the word "fantastic" the correct way lol. Most people assume it means the same thing as, "Cool!" or "Great!" or "Wonderful!" It doesn't. It means "Odd", "Bizarre", or "Having to do with fantasy" which are very different definitions.
ReplyDeleteYay! Someone else knows!
DeleteI've known for about a year, but I just never use that word xD
