(UPDATED) 2020 Roleplay Poll

UPDATE: So, yeah, forgot to say this, but the poll will close either on the 25th, or the first chance I've got after then. If you're planning on voting, please get it in by the 25th, though, just to be safe. The extra time between the poll closing and 2020 will be time I use to write up the new roleplay.

Alright, so, 2020 is stalking us, ready to pounce when we least expect it, so we've got to prepare.

No, I don't mean New Years Resolutions. I mean Roleplay.

With the Secrets In Fairforest Roleplay coming to an abrupt (and rather lousy) end, I figured voting for next year's roleplay would be smart, since it'll allow us to transition seamlessly between the two. Mostly.

Here are the options:

Secrets in Fairforest Sequel: No idea how this is gonna work, but essentially, Fairforest is being rebuilt, and tensions are at a record high. Without outside intervention, the Elves will go extinct, and another war will emerge.

Edge of Space: Turns out, if you travel too far, your ship begins to malfunction. A crew desperately working to escape exile must keep the ship together in search for a place to settle. There's no telling how long it'll take, or how quickly their ship will fall apart.

(Some Other Fantasy Roleplay): Open to ideas.

New Hope City: The world's attempt at creating the perfect city turns out more-or-less disastrous. The only perfect city that can exist is one with perfect people, and of course those don't exist. But do New Hope's citizens really need to know the project was cancelled?

The Kingdom of Kleen: Life is uncertain. While the king assures his people that war will not happen, everyone's preparing for it. Bandits are taking advantage of the chaos and striking farms on the outskirts. Basically, there are three kinds of people: those who cower in fear, those who take advantage of others, and those who make a stand for what's right.

Basically, when creating options, I tried to create one new roleplay for each genre that I imagine you guys would find interesting: fantasy, sci-fi, realistic, and medieval, and then on top of that added a potential sequel for Secrets in Fairforest. Each of them is designed to be the ideal world for storytelling; none of them are particularly unique, but they are set up to really be anything. Any of them could potentially be a horror, a romance, or anything in-between. Hopefully something in-between.

So, anyways, voting is open! (NOTE: You may vote for two options, if you so wish.)

PLEASE only submit ONCE! It makes it much cleaner, and it also prevents people from submitting one choice once and then submitting that same one again, which isn't really the intention! (I will probably use that for future polls, but I want to consider the best way to do that in an organized fashion, first.)

Would You Rather...? (#1)

These "Would You Rathers" are small, but they're meant to start debates. Debates, not arguments! Anyways, here's the first one: "In a mystery novel, would you rather have a friend by your side helping you while risking his/her own life... ...or would you rather have your friend safe at home counting on you to solve the mystery and come out safely?"

Nexus Mad Libs

I assume most of you are familiar with what Mad Libs are. Basically, you're given a bunch of blanks to fill in, and you do so without knowing what the story is. Each blank has a part of speech labeling it, and that blank needs something that fits the part of speech. For example: Adjective: ________ --> Adjective: Explosive In the end, we usually have a hilarious end result that makes no sense whatsoever. One example is this (which is a real result I got once with my siblings): "Another way to help you fall asleep faster is drinking a nuclear glass of warm vinegar ." First, let's go over some rules. Obviously, keep it family friendly. This still goes for all blog content. Do not submit two words in a row. Submit one, and when someone else does one, you may do another. Submit through comments. That'll make it easier for me to assemble the final result. The category is Medieval Heroes . Here are the blanks: Adjective: Constipated (Kyra) Per

Q/A With Shaly

This was bound to happen, like so much that the one that is probably next is I don't know... The Poet of Steel or Spitfire or Lady Knight, or just some other crazy. Plus, you guys know the drill. Mark's Addition : So...well...yeah, if anyone else wants to do one, let me know. Apparently, this is the thing to do on my blog right now, though I admit, I have no clue why.
