Six-Word-Story Prevoting

Six-Word-Story Contest Prevoting is beginning!

For today and tomorrow (9/22/19-9/23/19) we will be voting for each author's top 2 Six-Word-Stories! For each author, the top 2 Six-Word-Stories voted upon will be representing the author in the actual contest.

One author ("Your Mom"...) will not be featured in the prevoting, due to only having 1 Six-Word-Story submitted to begin with.

Here's the link to prevoting: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd_llVVQkXOhgZywFp7Nv-9MzYIBwg3sz33RV7vBnJK78r3Yg/viewform

Also, thank you so much for your support! In the last 20 days, I've gotten twice as many views as I got all of August! I guess it kinda helps when I'm active, huh? Lesson learned. You win.

Now get ready for a full week of absolutely NO BREAKS! That's right! All week long, voting session after voting session after voting session, with the occasional actual thing to read! You literally asked for it! >:D

  1. Now that everyone can read everyone's Six-Word-Stories (well...for the most part), I'm going to reiterate my prediction:

I think it's gonna come down to Gabby and Poet of Steel in the end, as they have the more inspirational stuff, and pretty much everyone here is a writer in some capacity

My Talent (Poem by Mark Borne)

Many places, I've come to know, People of different cultures, too; They all have their thing, Something that they can do, But not me, not yet, My talent has yet to show up. I write and write, plots And twists and poems and Even the rare favorite of The readers I've lured And ensnared in my blog. Yet deep inside, I force myself To write the words that meet The lines of text and thoughts. Then I turn to run, and Find the wind upon my face As I escape my life, But it always catches up, And the worries I face Distract me, making the Outside world obsolete. Even in reading, I find Myself buried in stories That show misfortune in the Lives of fictional characters, Directly only to do as they Were told by the writer. And yet, in stories there is a Beauty unmatched by reality, A world that eventually Results in kindness and Peace and excitement. And being in those worlds, If only for a mere moment, Is my hobby. If only I could Be the character in the ...

Nexus Mad Libs

I assume most of you are familiar with what Mad Libs are. Basically, you're given a bunch of blanks to fill in, and you do so without knowing what the story is. Each blank has a part of speech labeling it, and that blank needs something that fits the part of speech. For example: Adjective: ________ --> Adjective: Explosive In the end, we usually have a hilarious end result that makes no sense whatsoever. One example is this (which is a real result I got once with my siblings): "Another way to help you fall asleep faster is drinking a nuclear glass of warm vinegar ." First, let's go over some rules. Obviously, keep it family friendly. This still goes for all blog content. Do not submit two words in a row. Submit one, and when someone else does one, you may do another. Submit through comments. That'll make it easier for me to assemble the final result. The category is Medieval Heroes . Here are the blanks: Adjective: Constipated (Kyra) Per...
