Good Byes (Poem by Shaelynspoems)

Goodbyes
For once I believed that love was a never ending circle, But that’s not the case, It can end and it’s not pretty. Death can end it and that’s a natural price we must pay for your lives. But when you lose someone, We’re constantly reminded that we can have everything forever. So why is it so hard to say goodbye? Why is it so hard to say goodbye to those you love, Even if all they did was hurt you? Is it because they left an imprint on my life, Because they may have influenced the path that I am going down? Goodbye, God I hate saying those words. They make me tear-up. I hate knowing that each conversation may be our last. So yes I may refuse to say “Goodbye,” but I’ll always kiss you goodnight.

Mark's Comment for the Author: Sorry! I just noticed this! I'm not on much in the mornings, and besides that, I've gotten kinda lazy with my blog. Sorry for it being posted a bit late.

  1. This is so relatable and sad, and way too true. Don't worry, that pain will leave. I know it's hard when somebody leaves, but you'll get through this, stay strong <3
This poem is beautiful and was a stab to the heart, something a lot of people can relate to and feel strongly to. It was also written perfectly, good job :)

My Talent (Poem by Mark Borne)

Many places, I've come to know, People of different cultures, too; They all have their thing, Something that they can do, But not me, not yet, My talent has yet to show up. I write and write, plots And twists and poems and Even the rare favorite of The readers I've lured And ensnared in my blog. Yet deep inside, I force myself To write the words that meet The lines of text and thoughts. Then I turn to run, and Find the wind upon my face As I escape my life, But it always catches up, And the worries I face Distract me, making the Outside world obsolete. Even in reading, I find Myself buried in stories That show misfortune in the Lives of fictional characters, Directly only to do as they Were told by the writer. And yet, in stories there is a Beauty unmatched by reality, A world that eventually Results in kindness and Peace and excitement. And being in those worlds, If only for a mere moment, Is my hobby. If only I could Be the character in the ...

Nexus Mad Libs

I assume most of you are familiar with what Mad Libs are. Basically, you're given a bunch of blanks to fill in, and you do so without knowing what the story is. Each blank has a part of speech labeling it, and that blank needs something that fits the part of speech. For example: Adjective: ________ --> Adjective: Explosive In the end, we usually have a hilarious end result that makes no sense whatsoever. One example is this (which is a real result I got once with my siblings): "Another way to help you fall asleep faster is drinking a nuclear glass of warm vinegar ." First, let's go over some rules. Obviously, keep it family friendly. This still goes for all blog content. Do not submit two words in a row. Submit one, and when someone else does one, you may do another. Submit through comments. That'll make it easier for me to assemble the final result. The category is Medieval Heroes . Here are the blanks: Adjective: Constipated (Kyra) Per...
