So, I noticed I wasn't getting any more post notifications from the Poet of Steel's blog, and I checked; the blog has been deleted. Furthermore, I checked his profile. It was also gone.
I'm uncertain what happened, but whatever the case, he will be missed.
Sidenote: A post was submitted to be posted today, but I wasn't sure it fit in with the rules of the blog. Then I looked for the rules to verify, and found they were hard to find, so I copied them to the "Read Here First" section. I hold no fault against the author of the submitted piece, especially since it likely is family friendly among many circles, but my family is pretty solidly Christian, as is another family I know reads this blog, and according to our particular beliefs, it isn't family friendly, so I have elected not to post it so no controversies will be sprung up. Sorry for the inconvience, but on the flip side, thanks for posting it, because I probably wouldn't have thought of moving the rules to another location, otherwise; now new readers will find it more accessible.

I noticed the same thing. I was wondering what happened.
ReplyDeleteBy the title of this I thought he had died, that was scary lol hope he's okay, hopefully he will be in the meeting Thursday :(
ReplyDeleteIt sucks that his blog closed down. I loved how optimistic its was. :(
ReplyDeleteP.S.
Are you referring to my poem revolving around the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral I understand. There was one word I meant to change to goat at the end to add another reference the verse in Isiah about satyrs dancing on the ruins of Babylon. But, I forgot to change it. I'm sorry. :(
No, it wasn't yours
