Infinity Stones Part 3: Mind Stone

"What we have is worth more than any of them ever knew."
-Wolfgang von Strucker

In the first Avengers movie, the Space Stone wasn't the only Infinity Stone in play. Loki used his Scepter to mind-control people, and inside his Scepter was the Mind Stone, where his Scepter's powers were coming from.

The Stone's powers are strange, but it can be summed up best by the words used in the MCU Wiki: "...the Mind Stone grants whoever holds it complete control over the hearts and minds of others." The wiki also claims the Mind Stone was capable of bestowing knowledge and visions to those under its grasp. The Mind Stone was also Vision's life-force. Vision claimed the Mind Stone had a degree of sentience, too, and said the Mind Stone was warning him of Thanos.

MIND STONE:
Alternate Form: Scepter
Power(s): Influence of Mind and Heart
Color: Yellow
Notable Villain(s): Loki

    1. Honestly, I don't mind Vision's death, and I'm upset that he might return.
(You know, since Past Thanos is dead, so he wouldn't have killed Vision to begin with)
Mostly because his character development was hard to trace, and I couldn't understand his powers, so I didn't like him much :/

  2. Oh, so Loki had 2 infinity stones! Wow, he must've been really powerful in that movie!

because the mind stone is sentient (or semisentient) is it kinda like Kyber crystals?

    1. Lol Not really, actually. The biggest threat was his army; the Hulk made short work of Loki, and without the other Avengers as backup (though Iron Man was ready to jump in if anything went wrong)

All of the Infinity Stones are sentient to a degree, and they each have their own personalities, if you notice. The Power Stone, for example, is brash and destructive, like you. In comparison, the Time Stone is calm, collected, and calculating. The Reality Stone is manipulative, too. Then the Mind Stone, which has control over mind and heart, is kind to its user, whereas the Soul Stone is cold and demanding. The final one, the Space Stone, has a more independent personality, and has a mind of its own

    3. Mark, you are totally the Time Stone. Sila, I'd probably clssify you as the Mind Stone.

    4. "Calm" isn't a word that would describe me. I'm good at hiding what goes on in my head, but I'm never really fully calm, more like paranoid. I'm probably closer to the Reality Stone, because I'm great at manipulating people if I have the proper motivation, or the Space Stone, since I often seclude myself in corners and read books when given the chance

Would You Rather...? (#1)

These "Would You Rathers" are small, but they're meant to start debates. Debates, not arguments! Anyways, here's the first one: "In a mystery novel, would you rather have a friend by your side helping you while risking his/her own life... ...or would you rather have your friend safe at home counting on you to solve the mystery and come out safely?"

Nexus Mad Libs

I assume most of you are familiar with what Mad Libs are. Basically, you're given a bunch of blanks to fill in, and you do so without knowing what the story is. Each blank has a part of speech labeling it, and that blank needs something that fits the part of speech. For example: Adjective: ________ --> Adjective: Explosive In the end, we usually have a hilarious end result that makes no sense whatsoever. One example is this (which is a real result I got once with my siblings): "Another way to help you fall asleep faster is drinking a nuclear glass of warm vinegar ." First, let's go over some rules. Obviously, keep it family friendly. This still goes for all blog content. Do not submit two words in a row. Submit one, and when someone else does one, you may do another. Submit through comments. That'll make it easier for me to assemble the final result. The category is Medieval Heroes . Here are the blanks: Adjective: Constipated (Kyra) Per

This was bound to happen, like so much that the one that is probably next is I don't know... The Poet of Steel or Spitfire or Lady Knight, or just some other crazy. Plus, you guys know the drill. Mark's Addition : So...well...yeah, if anyone else wants to do one, let me know. Apparently, this is the thing to do on my blog right now, though I admit, I have no clue why.
