Pen Name Change!

So, after googling my pen names, I discovered there's actually an actor named Mark Swift. Kinda a cool-looking guy, actually. Anyways, since he appeared in movies made before I actually created my pen name, I'm going to change my pen name slightly. Now, I shall be known as Mark Borne! My commenting name will be changed immediately, and I will start labeling posts differently. At some point, I'll change the labels on all my prior posts. Thank you for reading!

    1. "Hardee har har" lol. I like my new pen name, not as much as I liked Swift, but I'd rather not be associated with an actor that I really am not

  2. I noticed that. Whenever I tried google Mark Swift that popped up. Aw man! You were a U away from being related to Jason Bourne. XD

    1. Ha! Svetlana actually suggested Bourne, but there was already a Mark Bourne, so I went with Borne

    2. Borne is also the Ast tense to bear and a weird type of sofa.

    3. Aw, but he's a nobody. Mark swift was famous, but Mark Bourne is just a name. A cool one, but still a name.

    4. It's a cool name, though. A good choice!

    5. And I was here thinking you were famous, Mr. Borne. XD

To be honest, I never heard of the actor, Mark Swift. So, in my opinion you are much more known than he is.

    6. *Apparently screenwriter, not actor :/

Well, to you, yes. Maybe to the world, Idk, it depends how many people research screenwriters and how many people actually read my blog. I bet he's tons more famous than I am, though

    7. It depends on who you are and how you look at it; I'm your friend, so it would stand to reason that you value me more than the screenwriter; the screenwriter's friends would see him as more valuable than me. Perspective is key :)

  3. He's a screenwriter, actually. I don't care for Borne, it's more a Jason name. However my mirror ant origin stays, so I can't complain too much.

  4. Like the pen name, though I’ll miss your old one. It’s kind of surreal seeing the “Mark Borne Nexus” instead of “Mark Swift Nexus”, but I can understand why you changed it. Lol.

At least you’re still Mirrorant, though!

    1. I'll always be Mirror Ant :D Really, Mark Borne (formally Mark Swift) is a formal pen name, rather than my personal pen name

    2. I've got more than 10 pen names, I just never use most of them; lots of them are backups and backups of backups

Would You Rather...? (#1)

These "Would You Rathers" are small, but they're meant to start debates. Debates, not arguments! Anyways, here's the first one: "In a mystery novel, would you rather have a friend by your side helping you while risking his/her own life... ...or would you rather have your friend safe at home counting on you to solve the mystery and come out safely?"

Q/A With Shaly

This was bound to happen, like so much that the one that is probably next is I don't know... The Poet of Steel or Spitfire or Lady Knight, or just some other crazy. Plus, you guys know the drill. Mark's Addition : So...well...yeah, if anyone else wants to do one, let me know. Apparently, this is the thing to do on my blog right now, though I admit, I have no clue why.

Nexus Mad Libs

I assume most of you are familiar with what Mad Libs are. Basically, you're given a bunch of blanks to fill in, and you do so without knowing what the story is. Each blank has a part of speech labeling it, and that blank needs something that fits the part of speech. For example: Adjective: ________ --> Adjective: Explosive In the end, we usually have a hilarious end result that makes no sense whatsoever. One example is this (which is a real result I got once with my siblings): "Another way to help you fall asleep faster is drinking a nuclear glass of warm vinegar ." First, let's go over some rules. Obviously, keep it family friendly. This still goes for all blog content. Do not submit two words in a row. Submit one, and when someone else does one, you may do another. Submit through comments. That'll make it easier for me to assemble the final result. The category is Medieval Heroes . Here are the blanks: Adjective: Constipated (Kyra) Per
