...that's...well...odd way of putting it, but it's an update regarding an update, so it's grammatically correct :/
Anyways, welcome! I have decided that I am going to work on the remodeling early, so voting is now closed for the theme of the blog, Here are the results:
The main color of the blog will change from Orange to Red.
The complimenting color will remain as Black.
The blog will retain some features, but will be more easy-to-access.
The layout will be a bit traditional, but with some unique aspects.
Oh boy, I have my work cut out for me. I guess "Simple Yet Cool" is the look I'm going for. Anyways, I will try to bring this update around before March, but no promises!

DeleteWhoa... When the site loaded on my screen, I was startled for a moment. Was not expecting the update this early! Lol. I really, really like this, though. This is so cool, and I dare say it looks better than the former design. I hope this remains permanent, since this just looks so awesome. It's a thumbs up from me!

ReplyDeleteI love the colors on the blog and the easy access. But, even with my adoration with the colors, I feel they are too bold and break from the simple vibe, you're going for.

I'll be honest....it kind of hurts my eyes. I think it'd be better if the background was white, and the letters black, I think the other colors would be fine with white, but this is a bit in your face.

DeleteGood thing I'm still working on alternatives :P The problem is, even if everyone had voted white, I've actually manually selected black background for text, so past formatting won't be as good. And even then, Idk how I'm supposed to use red and black without bright red; like, this was the darkest I could manage while it not being just plain ugly :/
Idk, maybe I'll go rogue and use greens or blues :(
The text and comments are fine, it's just the boxes really hurt my eyes. And after reading for only a few minutes, it started to give me a headache. My eyes just don't agree with this I guess. Try making the background white, and see if that looks better. Or maybe a pale orange would even be better, like a tanish.
DeleteWhite would be too much, especially with red; maybe I'll go light grey and see if that helps. It'll take a bit, because I don't have time to actually do it right this second, but I'll try to get it done before I eat dinner
