  4. Love the GIF. Besides, who wouldn’t want to see a squirrel catapulting in the air? Wait, that doesn’t sound right...

    Anyway, congratulations on the views!

      And thanks!

    2. You're welcome. Also, if I were to bet (and we already have a track record on that), I would bet that your views would increase to over 40,000 (how about a specific number? Say, 48,000?) by the middle of next month. And yeah, that's a big gamble, but I'm taking that chance! Besides, what's the worst thing that can happen?

Though I can easily see this backfiring on me again, now that I am jinxing myself. :/

    3. By the end of March? Hmm...I bet it reaches 40,000, but not quite 48,000 views :D

    4. Hmm... If it is under 48,000 by the end of March, you win. If it is at or over 48,000, I win. Now, perhaps we should have conditions for the winner and loser to make this even more interesting? Besides, what's a good bet for without having something embarrassing for the loser to do? XD

    5. The loser writes a poem about the winner's greatness :D

    6. Maybe I should write a poem about your cockiness xD

    7. Challenge accepted! This is going to be very interesting, especially for whoever loses. XD

    8. Marysa, it's not just cockiness, it's excitement; I just want it to be thrilling, because I bet it'll be close :D

Lucy, have fun gathering ideas about writing me into a poem :D (And yes, Marysa, THIS is cockiness! Lol)

    9. Hmm... I don't think that will be likely, but have fun with eventually writing a poem about my greatness! :D
Now that I think about it, I sound really cocky, too. Lol.

    10. My views have ironically started slowing down :O Mid-To-Late February had an average of 10,100 views a month, now it's 9,800 views a month

    11. -sigh- Irony...
I’m going to lose this bet. Lol. Oh, well. I admit defeat.

    12. Don't, yet; it picked back up to 10,000 and today along I have more than double what I usually have before 8 in the morning, so it could very well reach the 48,000 mark by April

    13. Oh, that’s very cool! I do admit this gives me some hope. Lol.
I still think I’ll lose, but it might be close, so who knows? :D And even if I lose, you still get 40,000 (or over) views and a custom poem!
I feel way too optimistic today...

    14. Nothin' wrong with a little optimism :D
Something Rysa doesn't seem to always understand :/ No offense, Rysa, if you're reading this :)

    15. I am offended.
I have fair reason to not be optimistic.

      Delete
    16. Okay, you may have reason not to be optimistic, fair point, but optimism doesn't hurt :D What people don't understand about optimism is it's not irrational, it's just taking joy in what you do have and not letting anything be taken for granted. It's being glad that you have what you do, and willing to make the most out of it. That's why I prefer to be optimistic, because I'm not nearly as sad, and it acts as a comfort to others', too, and yet I can still look at things for what they are :)

    17. You act like I lack optimism 100% if the time, and that I don't try. I feel kind of attacked.

    18. I'm not exactly saying that; you can try to be something and not be it, especially if the concept isn't clear or you've got the wrong picture, and I didn't know if either was the case so I explained it in case it wasn't clear. It might have been all along, Idk, but I'm not a mind-reader, so I don't know for certain if you knew it already or not. Thus, I was explaining it so if you didn't understand it before, you certainly would now :)

Basically, I'm looking blindly into a pool. Idk if it's clear or muddy, but regardless, I empty the pool and refill it so I know for a fact it's clear (okay, the emptying part doesn't fit well as part of the metaphor; I'm not removing any knowledge or anything. You get the idea, though; you know me well enough to get the idea of what I'm saying, right?)

  5. Well, it's mid-month at this point, and you're currently at over 31,000 views (which congrats by the way, that's awesome!), it's pretty clear that you will eventually reach 48,000...

But, it's most likely not going to be at the end of this month, though.

So, congrats, Mark. You win! Should I send the poem your way at this point?

    1. Lol You never know, a lot can happen in a day, let alone half a month. You can write one, but don't send it until April, just to be safe :)

Would You Rather...? (#1)

These "Would You Rathers" are small, but they're meant to start debates. Debates, not arguments! Anyways, here's the first one: "In a mystery novel, would you rather have a friend by your side helping you while risking his/her own life... ...or would you rather have your friend safe at home counting on you to solve the mystery and come out safely?"

Q/A With Shaly

This was bound to happen, like so much that the one that is probably next is I don't know... The Poet of Steel or Spitfire or Lady Knight, or just some other crazy. Plus, you guys know the drill. Mark's Addition : So...well...yeah, if anyone else wants to do one, let me know. Apparently, this is the thing to do on my blog right now, though I admit, I have no clue why.

Nexus Mad Libs

I assume most of you are familiar with what Mad Libs are. Basically, you're given a bunch of blanks to fill in, and you do so without knowing what the story is. Each blank has a part of speech labeling it, and that blank needs something that fits the part of speech. For example: Adjective: ________ --> Adjective: Explosive In the end, we usually have a hilarious end result that makes no sense whatsoever. One example is this (which is a real result I got once with my siblings): "Another way to help you fall asleep faster is drinking a nuclear glass of warm vinegar ." First, let's go over some rules. Obviously, keep it family friendly. This still goes for all blog content. Do not submit two words in a row. Submit one, and when someone else does one, you may do another. Submit through comments. That'll make it easier for me to assemble the final result. The category is Medieval Heroes . Here are the blanks: Adjective: Constipated (Kyra) Per
