Current Statistics

I, out of boredom, have decided to go through the different statistics on my blog.
First up, top three Countries by views!

  1. The United States of America (logical, since most of my readers are probably people I know in real life, and I live in this country) with 10,303 views!
  2. Germany with 662 views! (Thanks for the support!)
  3. Russia with 98 views! (Awesome, thanks!)
This shows that either a lot of people are accidentally clicking on my blog, or people are continually coming back. I bet it's the latter, and I appreciate everyone who's reading from these countries, and others! (Honorable mention to Brazil, which has 20 views. It's a low number, but I think most of them are recent, so I can't wait to see if my Brazil reader(s) keep coming back!)

Second statistic will be Operating Systems, which is cool.
  1. Windows (the one I use) comes in with 5,125 views!
  2. Macintosh comes in second with 4,260! Not that far behind!
  3. iPhone has a total of 1,234! A nice sequence of numbers!
Ah, still in the majority! :D I think most of the 309 iPad views might be mine from when I have been on the go...

Next up, Browsers!
  1. Safari with 5,799 views! Awesome!
  2. Chrome (I am no longer in the majority) with 4,646 views!
  3. Firefox (the one I used several years back) with 715 views!
Let's actually remove Safari from the picture. That puts Chrome in first, Firefox in second, and Internet Explorer in fourth with 63 views!

Most viewed posts! Sweet!
  1. "Welcome to the Mark Swift Nexus" with 256 view...my welcome page gets the most? Hmm, I'll have to work on that.
  2. "If An Onion Was A Person..." comes in second with 240! Wow, I guess you guys want more food poems!
  3. "Interview with Gabby L." gets 160 views! I get it, I know, you can't help but read my awesome interview questions :D
And "I Believe I Can Fly" to the pages section next, after pointing out that the poem I just not-so-subtly mentioned has 119 views! Positivity for the win!

Last, and least, is the pages (like, what my blog counts as pages)!
  1. Discussion Board. You have achieved a total of 255. ONE SINGLE VIEW BEHIND MY WELCOME PAGE. Come on, you're supposed to be the popular one!
  2. Literary Submission Challenge with a total of 181 sweet views! And it's gonna be deleted soon, too, so don't get too excited.
  3. About The Authors...? Okay, kinda creepy (Who's reading about us?!?!), but it ended up with 151 views.
Honorable mention to my update log, which has 136 views.

  1. Note that these statistics are not inaccurate. I have enough activity that they've already become outdated. Thanks, guys! :D

    1. Yes, it is!
Are you asking if I'm still working on wrapping on the past one or are you asking if I'm gonna do more?
If you're asking about future ones, then I can say, yes. Every once and a while, I may do one :)
If you're asking if I'm still finishing up, then yes, I'm actually just wrapping up the final touches on a post on this blog that will go into details for Scarlett and Lupa as far as how to submit their Read-Aloud thingy

  4. Funny commentary, Mark! I cracked up laughing when you talked about the author's page views. Actually, about the iPad views...I use my iPad a lot, almost more than my computer, now that I think about it. Didn't think I went on here THAT much! Lol.

Anyway, this was pretty neat to read, since these are interesting statistics.

Would You Rather...? (#1)

These "Would You Rathers" are small, but they're meant to start debates. Debates, not arguments! Anyways, here's the first one: "In a mystery novel, would you rather have a friend by your side helping you while risking his/her own life... ...or would you rather have your friend safe at home counting on you to solve the mystery and come out safely?"

Nexus Mad Libs

I assume most of you are familiar with what Mad Libs are. Basically, you're given a bunch of blanks to fill in, and you do so without knowing what the story is. Each blank has a part of speech labeling it, and that blank needs something that fits the part of speech. For example: Adjective: ________ --> Adjective: Explosive In the end, we usually have a hilarious end result that makes no sense whatsoever. One example is this (which is a real result I got once with my siblings): "Another way to help you fall asleep faster is drinking a nuclear glass of warm vinegar ." First, let's go over some rules. Obviously, keep it family friendly. This still goes for all blog content. Do not submit two words in a row. Submit one, and when someone else does one, you may do another. Submit through comments. That'll make it easier for me to assemble the final result. The category is Medieval Heroes . Here are the blanks: Adjective: Constipated (Kyra) Per

Q/A With Shaly

This was bound to happen, like so much that the one that is probably next is I don't know... The Poet of Steel or Spitfire or Lady Knight, or just some other crazy. Plus, you guys know the drill. Mark's Addition : So...well...yeah, if anyone else wants to do one, let me know. Apparently, this is the thing to do on my blog right now, though I admit, I have no clue why.
