Memories (Poem by Marysa Writes)

I want to make memories with you.
I want to make sound when the silence
envelops us like a blanket. And I want
to remember every syllable that makes
you smile.

    1. Btw, congrats on shortest poem on this blog! And yet, simultaneously, this poem says a lot more than any of my poems

    1. Lol She had submitted it in the "Want To Contribute?" form in an attempt to "annoy me" or something, so I turned the joke around and actually published it XD

    3. If you want, sure; I've got a page at the top of the site called "Want To Contribute?" (you may have the click the "More" button) where you can submit poetry, short stories, encouragement, etc. Basically, it's there so that people can submit stuff so when my writing gets slow (like now), I can stay afloat. If you want to submit something there, be my guest lol

Even in reading, I find Myself buried in stories That show misfortune in the Lives of fictional characters, Directly only to do as they Were told by the writer. And yet, in stories there is a Beauty unmatched by reality, A world that eventually Results in kindness and Peace and excitement. And being in those worlds, If only for a mere moment, Is my hobby. If only I could Be the character in the ...

Nexus Mad Libs

I assume most of you are familiar with what Mad Libs are. Basically, you're given a bunch of blanks to fill in, and you do so without knowing what the story is. Each blank has a part of speech labeling it, and that blank needs something that fits the part of speech. For example: Adjective: ________ --> Adjective: Explosive In the end, we usually have a hilarious end result that makes no sense whatsoever. One example is this (which is a real result I got once with my siblings): "Another way to help you fall asleep faster is drinking a nuclear glass of warm vinegar ." First, let's go over some rules. Obviously, keep it family friendly. This still goes for all blog content. Do not submit two words in a row. Submit one, and when someone else does one, you may do another. Submit through comments. That'll make it easier for me to assemble the final result. The category is Medieval Heroes . Here are the blanks: Adjective: Constipated (Kyra) Per...
