Lark Adventures: Shopping Aftermath (Written by Al)

Me: Lark, I cannot believe you snuck in my bag and came to the dress shop with me!
Lark: You have a terrible taste in fashion and what do you expect? You don't know Chanel from j. crew.
 Me: what?
Lark: exactly. I was doing you a favor.
Me: By wreaking havoc and terrifying me?
Lark: don't be so dramatic.
Me: Lark! At least I found a dress. I don't know how, but at least I found one, with all the yelling you were doing. Even if it is three sizes too small its something.
Lark: May I speak now, arrogant, irritating human?
Me: No. You howled and the other costumers had a fit! Who takes their cat shopping? Please don't interrupt when I am sewing though, okay? the dress needs a lot of work - I stil can't believe you came? to a store! I put you in a cart and didn't know it!
Lark clears throat.
please don't try to help me sew it, and please, don't come shopping again! I am so lucky I found that, but if you come shopping, they will never let me back. Oh my goodness. I just... oh stars.
Lark: you look like you are going to faint. Just because I stracthed up the wall paper behind the restroom, and triggered to racks of clothes to fall does not mean I committed a crime. Kings don't - cats don't do that.
 Me: I am.
Lark: go drink some tuna.
Me: okay now I am going to vomit.
Lark: you deserve it. all of my 'yelling' was for good reason. I had a good reason for coming because I knew what would happen. I had a purpose but you would not listen.
 Me: what was your purpose?
lark: I found the exact dress you chose in your size.
Me:...

(five hours later)
Me: Lark, I am going shopping! Come one!

  1. LARRRRRKKKKK!!!! Such an evil genius!!!!

I love the ending. It was such a great punchline.

One overall edit: You have some capitalization errors.

But besides that, it's hilarious as always!

Would You Rather...? (#1)

These "Would You Rathers" are small, but they're meant to start debates. Debates, not arguments! Anyways, here's the first one: "In a mystery novel, would you rather have a friend by your side helping you while risking his/her own life... ...or would you rather have your friend safe at home counting on you to solve the mystery and come out safely?"

Nexus Mad Libs

I assume most of you are familiar with what Mad Libs are. Basically, you're given a bunch of blanks to fill in, and you do so without knowing what the story is. Each blank has a part of speech labeling it, and that blank needs something that fits the part of speech. For example: Adjective: ________ --> Adjective: Explosive In the end, we usually have a hilarious end result that makes no sense whatsoever. One example is this (which is a real result I got once with my siblings): "Another way to help you fall asleep faster is drinking a nuclear glass of warm vinegar ." First, let's go over some rules. Obviously, keep it family friendly. This still goes for all blog content. Do not submit two words in a row. Submit one, and when someone else does one, you may do another. Submit through comments. That'll make it easier for me to assemble the final result. The category is Medieval Heroes . Here are the blanks: Adjective: Constipated (Kyra) Per

Q/A With Shaly

This was bound to happen, like so much that the one that is probably next is I don't know... The Poet of Steel or Spitfire or Lady Knight, or just some other crazy. Plus, you guys know the drill. Mark's Addition : So...well...yeah, if anyone else wants to do one, let me know. Apparently, this is the thing to do on my blog right now, though I admit, I have no clue why.
